When I enabled FHT. I got verification error and also some L_EC error. So that setting wouldn't work. So I had to disable it. If disabled my game burns and verifies.
Thats good to know mate, glad you got it going. Also confirms my point about advanced settings being specific to a personal setup - what works for some may not work for others.
Thinking from a technical (and theroretical) perspective, FHT needs constant communication between the burner and the OS shell (and possibly some kernel elements). This would also need a good availability of steady DMA (Direct Memory Access) which is present on any type of PC/laptop. Minute fluctuations in any of the operations required to be free during the burn could potentially have a bad effect on the transfer, with a coaster being the usual result!
Many OS factors can affect the burn process, and for example the page file springs to mind. All windows versions have one set by default and can have a considerable effect on how RAM interacts with running processes. Systems with around 8GB+ of RAM should have no problems, unless there is a bottleneck on the data/memory address buses on the motherboard.
Sorry to go on a bit (old habit of mine that seems to never die!) lol
No problem mate. Though i will try to install this on my xbox if it works then good else i have to burn again. This wont flag my console right? When does a console get flagged?
