Hi, I want to know if the list updated still? I also have question with this method, i have some copies of truncated/overburnt titles, but here i will pick resident evil 6 & borderlands 2 goty as example (bcoz they had same year of released), They are burnt on same method, installed on hdd but only RE 6 would allow me to play without any additional action, in borderlands 2 case i need to play music file firstly in order not to get the unauthorized disc error message, Would you kindly explain this so i would notice where i have done wrong when patching or burning again in the future. thanks before...

unfortunately this truncate/overburn method is limited, and it's not working with some games you can't do anything about it, and also don't update your dashboard unless you need to play a game that requires newer dashboard, probably in a newer dashboard the music method wont work properly
I'm aware that my console has the latest dashboard right now, but never thought it would be dashboard version caused my problem... i have been looking for ihas burner or any type that listed working in other thread but all i can get is a TSST which listed working but might not burn correctly, have tried it with burner max and it did fail at certain progression. About the list of games cannont be overburnt, to be specific i have battlefield 4 & hardline iso right now, i wonder if they were capable to run with overburn method since these two are pretty new released games... thanks in advance...
a TSST can work if you are using verbatim discs, it won't work with normal dvds it will pop an error at 50% when copying the game to the console's hdd or when verifying the disc with abgx360, because at 50% where the layerbreak exists... i didn't try new released games it's been a while since i played xbox360 games, it may work even if they are new released games, and one more thing is i prefer using overburn over turncate method, some people say it works better
Well, at least you're still the best in the forum, many threads of this forum have guided me through years with my 360, thank you for patiently answered all my questions, until then mate...
