Hello everyone, I am quite experienced with burning games, and have had a 100% success rate, up until recently.
The last game I burnt was Destiny, which works fine no issues what so ever.
Now, I don't know if there is something wrong with the new set of Verbatim disks I got, but I am consistently getting the "Unrecognized Disc" error code 03-57-00. This is very unusual and I have never had issues before. The games I am getting this error with are, Madden NFL 15 and FIFA 15. I now have 5 coasters because of this and I'm afraid to go on.
Has something recently changed, is LT3 no longer working? I can pop any of my previous burned games and it starts right up, no problem what so ever, but these 2 ISO's seem to not want to be read by my Xbox. Did m$ change something with these new games that are now also on XBone? Or is this something to do with EA? (I have not downloaded any other games besides Destiny, which works and nothing new is out until borderlands to test)
ABGX360 and ImgBurn have no issues 100% scan and burn but when it comes to playing it in my Xbox it simply fails?
That's honestly very weird. That error code usually means that you disk drive cant read it and usually a laser clean or disk clean works for me and it fixes it. But since you said your other games work that leaves me confused. The only thing I can think of is that your dvd drive is broken or dirty and it wont read the game. The reason might be why your other games work is because you have them installed to your hdd before your dvd drive broke. I suggest you go to google and type your error code in and see what solutions there is to fix it.
Nope, not the culprit, I removed Watchdogs and Gears of War from HD and put it in, game started right up playing off the disc.
Maybe there is something wrong with these Verbatim DVD+R DL disc I have. I just recently bought them this past Friday (9/19) due to being completely out.
As stated before, AGBX has green lit everything, no issues and my settings are the same with the past 40 discs I have burnt with 100% success. The same applies with Imgburn settings and burns they go all the way no issues, even with these last 2 games I downloaded. I use BurnerMax method. Even had said that, when it comes to putting it in my Xbox, it doesn't want to read the disc.
The only logical reasons I can think of are: 1. The disks are faulty. 2. The ISO has preventative measure.
I doubt it is my DVD burner because it simply wouldn't work and Imgburn would deffinately give me errors. The last game I burned was Destiny which was 2 weeks ago, but that was using my older spindle of DVDs which all 20 have given me 100% success rate. Now from the new spindle I bought, is when I started to get this read error from recent new games.
I have one of the ASUS burners, that is in the recommened list of BurnerMax payload tool. Yes, as stated ABGX and Imgburn scan and burn the ISO 100% fine, green lit across all checks and perfect burn.
I ran the disk through ABGX with the same results, everything is green lit and good, no conflicts at all, just as if i would have ran the ISO through it.
I have burned 40 games over the past year or so, nothing has changed and as stated before Destiny was the last game I burned with no issues, which was 2 weeks ago.
It wasn't until I bought a new package of blanks is when I started to get these read errors. Destiny was the last blank disc I had in previous spindle. So i got a new pack this weekend. I have burned the first 3 in the stack then randomly in the middle with no luck of being read.
I'm going to simply lean toward it being the disc i bought were completely shot, Ive only wasted 5 of the 20, maybe i should just go yolo and burn all 20 and see if one works.
No, those options are not available since the disc drive cannot recognize the media, only options are to display the error code which was 03-57-00.
I have looked up this error online and there are silly cleaning methods to fix it, but this isn't a solution because i can easily put any 1 of my previous 40 burns and they start right up.
Other then everything else explain, when it comes to the packaging i noticed it had this text called "AZO" which my 2 previous spindles never specified on the packaging, but i doubt that could be giving me issues as it seems AZO is just a protection layer or something to make these disks live up to there great reliability reputation.
your ABGX log is good, so to make sure that the new DVD's what causes the problem you have to waste one of them! by burning a game that is already working and see if will work that's what i will do in your case
Hmm i could do that. I don't currently have any ISO's from my previous burned games. Would it fine if i rip the ISO off one of my DVDs with Imgburn, then burn it to a blank? Or would you recommend me having to just re-download an entire game?
