hi guys

i want to do cod ghosts title update 16 so i could play on system link so i download it from a site i didn't download it from xbuc.net cus it didn't work the download wont start and i put the update in the content in COD folder and when i open the multilayer section it says u need to download something from xbox live.

what i done wrong?

Title updates with a name like TU_XXXXXXX_0000000000000.0000000000000 goes in HDD:\Cache\
Title updates with a name like tu00000000_00000000 goes in HDD:\Content\0000000000000000\<Game's Title ID>\00000002\

The title id for ghosts is 415608FC
Make sure you download the correct title update for your game by searching xbuc.net or xboxunity.net using the media id of your game.
To find the media id, you can use 360mpGUI.

Say I have 3 copies of Cod Ghosts. NTSC-U, PAL, and Region Free.
All of them will have the same title id (415608FC) because that is specific to the title Call of Duty: Ghosts.
None of them will have the same media id because the media id is specific to title and region.

But if you use 360mpGUI it will show you everything. Just go to the Create ISO tab and select the default.xex you want to know the info for.
As you can see from the following image.

I always get my title updates directly on my Xbox 360 with FSD connected to the former jqe360.com (now xboxunity.com).

If I find the time, I'll try playing Ghosts this evening on my RGH with the latest title update. I'll report back when I know more.

Well. I have installed TU 15 for my version of COD Ghosts. When I want to play MP, I too get the prompt: "In order to play multiplayer, you need to download new required content. This content is free. You must be connected to Xbox Live in order to download this content. Would you like to sign in to Xbox Live?". Seems like a small piece of content is needed before you can continue playing on system link. My suggestion is that you get all content released for COD Ghosts so far. A good place to start is here:

You should update to the latest dashboard, dashlaunch and FSD. You might need to delete previous Title Updates. You also need the Season Pass and the previous compatibility packs.

You need the compatiblitiy packs which are required for the multiplayer.
Here are some links, they are not uploaded by me.

Download both and install them like a DLC.
So you plan to play through system link I guess?
If you do so, little hint:
To use your headset in system link you must enable "fakelive" in dashlaunch.

If you dont know how to install the Compatibility Packs:
DLCs are installed on RGH like this:
You must put DLC files to the path "HDD/Content/00000000000000000000/Title ID(In this case 415608FC)/00000002"
If the folder 00000002 doesnt exist, create a new one.

Tell us if it worked.
