i don't really know about the ihas drives, you are intending to flash it with burnermax firmware?
no i dont need to as i can just use the BurnerMax payload tool i can burn but its just that when i try installing it to my xbox hdd its gets to 48-50% installed then stop and said some think like "disc is unreadable try cleaning with a soft cloth"
if burnermax is compatible with your drive that doesn't mean that is fully support it, i have the same problem with a drive TSSTcorp SU-208fb, just forget about using burnermax payload tool you will just waste you verbs use overburn instead

Bro, I succeeded to burn GTA V disc 2 using the usual old truncate method, on a cheap GIGAMAX discs and it worked....while recently fresh copies of it using the same iso file and same discs brand doesn't work on my NTSC Xbox Elite, while they works perfectly on my PAL Xbox elite at my parents house.
What I'm thinking, I might clean my lens and lubricate the reader's door of my NTSC Xbox and see what's happening,
By the way my GTA V release is Marvel, the one released back in September 13, 2013

I have this drive Sony Optiarc 5280S CB PLUS which was said to be the best, however I get unreco disc errors and bad burns? I used to have an original ihas that burned every game perfect every time but it was stolen. Since there hard to coime by these days, I bought the Sony Optiarc 5280S CB PLUS because I have read that all setting are default and they just work but Ive not had that luck?
Does anyone have any help for what to buy to get good burns? Im willing to spend a bit to get the right setup etc...
are you using verbatim discs? can you burn XGD2 games successfully?
Yes Verbatim disc. I really haven't tried XGD2 because all I have tried to play are the newer games? I will test a game and report back though. Thanks. What burner do you use please?
this Sony Optiarc 5280S CB PLUS is the best burner after the IHAS 124-B i don't know what is wrong with yours! can you post ABGX360 log of a burned DVD - put your disc on the drive and on abgx change the input from "File(s)" to "Burned DVD" then run the test -
