Hi All,
Apologies if this question already exists, am new to the xbox jtag thing so really dont know much about it.
i want to install games to games library from usb disk. I have a xbox 360 e (2013) jtag with default dashboard. I can play games from my usb flash drive using xexmenu 1.1 but i want those games to show up in in my games library. As i install games from DVD disk and they show there then i run NEX2GOD to convert it then play with out disk from games library.
i asked the same question on google answers and they deleted it :P am sure you people will be able to help.
i really wanna know is ti possible or not with out FSD
thanks !! :)
With NXE alone, you can't do it.
You must install FSD in your console.
Now, lets assume that you already have the FSD installed since your console is JTAG (or RGH).
Regarding games and being able to "see" them on your XBOX 360 "dash blades":
1. Take the ISO of the game you downloaded and create it in a GOD file using ISO2GOD (it'll give either a folder like named after numbers or a folder named after numbers and letters. Examples: 56550003 or 51450a8b). This very folder should be passed (via USB) inside the HDD1:/Content/00000000000000 folder.
Then, when re-booting, you'll see the game's blade in your FSD (and in the NXE as well).
2. There are some games, especially those that are more than 1 disc, that should be extracted with EXISO and passed inside the HDD1:/Games/(folder here, e.g. Mass Effect 2). You take the first DVD's ISO, "drag" it into the EXISO icon, and the program will do its magic. It will give you a new folder after the name of the game's 1st DVD. You do the same with the second DVD as well. You then create THREE folders. One MAIN and two SUB. MAIN: Mass Effect 2 / 1st Subfolder: DVD 1 / 2nd Subfolder: DVD 2.
You copy all the DVD 1 files you just created via EXISO inside the DVD 1 subfolder (you do the same for DVD 2 as well), and you copy both folders (DVD 1 & DVD 2) inside the Mass Effect 2 folder you already created.
Finally, you take the whole Mass Effect 2 folder and copy it to your USB stick. Note: These games need at least a 16Gb USB).
Then you pass the Mass Effect 2 folder inside your XBOX' HDD, into the "Games" folder. (If there's no "Games" folder there, create one).
And you are ready.
