Hello Guys, i'm are really not to experience in this. I'm having the fallowing issue and dont know what is happening: I'm burning Amazing Spiderman 2 in my Sony Optiarc AD-5280S-CB-PLUS drive(Doesn't need BurnMax Payload) with Imgburn with all necessary settings for a XGD3 iso consulted by websites . Burning slow (2.4 x) and all the stuff.
When I play the game in my (not sure if correctly flashed) console, different things happens : The console displays Disk Error in different moments sometime at the beginning , sometime after starting a new mission. I've tried to install the game in the HD but also give me an error. I have new Verbatim disc made in Emirates Arab. Are this errors due to bad discs??
You got "disc is unreadable Clean the disc with a soft"? Is this is your only burn with this UAE package? You need to pass this disc through abgx, put the disc on your computer's drive and run abgx then change the input from File(s) to Burned DVD and run the test

Yes that's the error. Not the only burn, I've been doing several test with same error. I'll make a test with abgx (first time) and show the results here. Thanks, BL

This is the result of checking the burned Disk with abgx.It seems fine. I will run abgx with other Iso file. This time: The.Amazing.Spider-Man.2.XBOX360-COMPLEX. 8.13 GB (8,738,846,720 bytes) Then will burn again and tell you the results. Thanks , BL
BL now I'm more concerned. I passed The.Amazing.Spider-Man.2.XBOX360-COMPLEX.iso thru abgx and create my own .dvd file. Then burned as shown in your configuration topic: thegamescene.boards.net/thread/5/imgburn-settings-xgd2-methods-burning. When starting the game is everything ok.. starting new game ok .. first scene till going with uncle Ben laying on the floor.. When starting/loading the next scene/mission the came CRASHED and shows the Error message for microsecond and GOES DIRECTLY TO THE DASHBOARD!!! It most be my console its not well flashed , right??
You could try using the payload tool, you just run it each session before you burn, then burn the .dvd abgx created using imgburn, I personally just use its default settings with no issues. I burn at 4x and then have it test the dvd afterwards to ensure 100% burn completion.
If it does burn 100% it could be an issue with your xbox laser? try having the xbox horizontally and then install to hdd. The fact that it initially loaded an xgd3 game makes me think it is on LT3.0 and works ok

Thanks Xboxpirate , I'll give a try with the xbox in standing position. If this doesn't work may be I'll need to take it to somebody to review it. Man I've been throwing a lot of burned disk due to this issue, thinking that my burns were bad. :/
If the burn on imgburn 100% completes and then the test afterwards (the check to confirm data burned correctly) checks out 100% then 100% of the data did burn so should work.
I hear having the xbox horizontal on the floor is the best option. You seem to be doing everything right though, Verbs etc Good luck buddy.
You could try an XGD2 game, if that does not work, then it would seem to be a laser issue on your xbox (you could also maybe confirm by putting in an official retail dvd game)
