It's in the list of compatible burners and Burner Max shows enabled.
I tried burning some XGD3 games, but ImgBurn fails in verification. It always blocks around 50% (I think it's in the layer change). Does this mean my burner isn't good for burning XGD3 games, even if Burner Max shows enabled?

I think it would be great if we can compile a list of drives that are compatible with the burnermax payload tool. This way members will know which drives work with the tool and they'll be able to purchase the most suitable and cost effective drive.
The following list has been taken from the team-xecuter forums, any drive posted in the comments section will be added to the relevant list.
Notes:
1. You must insert a Blank DVD disc in your drive before sending the burner max payload.
2. This list is compiled from user responses on this forum and other websites. If your drive is listed in the 'Not working' list, that doesn't mean it wont work with the burner max payload. Try the payload tool yourself yourself to confirm whether your drive works or not. The same goes for the 'working' list.
3. It is not possible to tell if a particular drive will work with this tool. Try the tool yourself and check if your drive works.
4. The latest revision of IHAS x24 drives (iHASx24-W) are not compatible with the payload tool, when buying a IHAS drive ask the seller about the revision first. If the drive's revision is 'W' , DONT buy it.

I know i can go with anything else, but i plan to buy a drive that is the same of my motherboard brand which is Asus, so if you can recommend me the best drive from Asus to use for this XBOX 360 games thing.

if you can find an asus drive from the recommended list it will be better, otherwise i recommend you buy this one "Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB PLUS" or "Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB Robot" because you don't have to flash it with the ihas firmware you just plug it and start burning xgd3 games without problems as long as you are using verbatim discs

I was hoping for Asus, but not a problem, after all i was thinking to buy 2 drives for this Asus built computer, a DVD burner and a BD burner, so i may go with this your recommendation drive as DVD burner and leave BD burner for Asus.
I still don't know what do you mean flashing the drive with ihas firmware, so if i have a drive that can burn games directly or standard without problems if using Verbatim it means that it is already flashed? because i have a drive that burning games including XGD3 games without problems using verbatim discs, but this drive i use it on one computer not the Asus one.
