also i'm having a hard time finding verbatim discs here in the philippines so the only one i can easily acquire is: Kodak DVD+R DL 8.5GB
thoughts?
will the the drive work? (i'm guessing it wont )
See If your burner is supported by burner max payload first... If it is supported.. Then u can burn full xgd3 into your media And as for your blank disc.. I believe only verbatim will give u proper burn... But many have tried with other media and have gotten good results.. It depends on each media
Hey man, i did exactly what you said and i used the i/o settings that you've put(73,25,50) i dont have a lite on drive, so i used the i/o settings but it stoped on 55%, i/o error, so what should i do? and here's the log
I 01:44:28 ImgBurn Version 2.5.6.0 started!
I 01:44:28 Microsoft Windows 8 Enterprise x64 Edition (6.2, Build 9200)
I 01:44:28 Total Physical Memory: 8,313,008 KB - Available: 5,743,880 KB
you got this writing error at 55% probably because of bad disc quality or your burner's laser is dead, just keep the same settings and burn it again, make sure the disc is clean and containing no dust or scratch on it

may be another problem other than my media? in my country is hard to find verbs, that's why i'm using RITEK S04-66 =/
edit: if i use MediaCodeSpeedEdit and select some ID MIDIA with 2,4x could work or doesn' matter? can i flash my device with lite-on firmware? if does, is too risky?
thanks for your time, i hope someone helps
